About Dataenginebase
We are a Bangkok practice focused on user journey and event path analysis for product teams who need clearer answers than a funnel chart alone can give.
Official name & history
Dataenginebase Co., Ltd. was established in 2019 in Bang Khae, Bangkok. The founders had spent years sitting between product managers and analytics specialists who spoke past each other — one describing screens, the other describing tables. The company formed to bridge that gap with structured journey reviews and event path work grounded in how Thai and regional product teams actually ship.
Early engagements centered on marketplace onboarding and booking confirmation flows. Over time the practice widened to fintech activation, education apps, and travel search paths, while keeping the same delivery model: short, human-led consultations rather than long retainers that blur ownership.
Mission
Help product teams see the path people take, name the moments that stall, and leave with decisions their engineers can act on in the next sprint.
How we work
We favor evidence over theatre. Kickoffs are short. Access is temporary and read-only. Deliverables are briefs and maps your team can reuse without us in the room. When a finding is uncertain, we say so and propose a cheap way to verify it.
Values
- Specificity — name the screen, the wait, the missing event.
- Shared language — product and analytics leave speaking about the same path.
- Proportion — rank friction honestly; do not invent crisis.
- Handoff — your team owns the fix list after readout.
People you may meet
Engagements are led by practitioners who have sat in product and analytics roles before joining the practice.
