Refund & cancellation

This policy applies to paid consulting engagements with Dataenginebase Co., Ltd., including User Journey Audits, Event Path Reviews, Journey Mapping Sessions, and Funnel Path Assessments. It does not cover software subscriptions or physical goods, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered when we cancel an engagement we cannot deliver, when a prepaid session is cancelled within the windows below, or when a written statement of work expressly provides a refund path. Informal website inquiries without payment create no refund obligation.

Timeframe to request

Send refund requests to hello@dataenginebase.digital within 14 days of the charge or the missed session date, whichever is later, unless the statement of work sets a different window.

Full or partial refunds

• Full refund — We cancel before work starts, or you cancel a prepaid mapping session with at least 5 business days’ notice and no materials have been prepared beyond scheduling.
• Partial refund — You cancel after kickoff but before the midpoint of an audit or assessment; fees for completed phases (intake, access review, partial analysis) are retained, and the unused remainder may be refunded.
• No refund — Work already delivered (readouts held, briefs sent, workshops completed), no-shows without timely notice, or cancellations inside 48 hours of a scheduled workshop without a medical or force-majeure reason documented in writing.

Non-refundable items

Third-party room hire booked at your request, rush premiums already consumed, and completed written deliverables are non-refundable.

Deposits

Engagements may require a deposit to reserve dates. Deposits are applied to the final fee. They are refundable if we cancel; they are forfeited if you cancel inside the no-refund window above.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a mapping session once at no charge with at least 3 business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of 2,000 THB or as stated in your confirmation.

No-shows

If your participants do not attend a confirmed session and have not cancelled in time, the session fee is due in full.

Work already started

Once path analysis or dictionary comparison has begun, fees cover effort already spent. We will itemize completed phases upon request when calculating any partial refund.

Process & timing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days after approval. Bank timelines may add further days.
